The following is a proof by contradiction that serves to invalidate the conditional premise of the idea that there is no god.
It goes like this. Suppose that ‘X’ and ‘Y’ are events.
If X, then Y.
But since Y is wrong or did not happen, therefore, X is wrong too.
In this case here pertaining to the existence of god, if there was no god, then atheism would never have existed in the first place. There would really be nothing for atheists to deny or reject. Essentially, there would be no such thing as an atheist in existence. There would be people, but no-one having to declare themselves as an atheist.
Yet today, we see athetits rallying themselves in public having gatherings and trying to convert Muslims to their wayward scientific philosophical ways. So what does that say about the conditional statement?
That’s right, the very existence of atheists and atheism proves that God exists.
